   Plan shopping and dining Monday through Saturday.

   Slow down on hills and curves, and pass buggies only with clear sight lines.

   Many Amish prefer not to be photographed. Landscapes and shops are fine.

   Bring some cash

   Smaller bakeries, auctions and farm stands may not accept cards.

   Dress comfortably

   Expect gravel lots, farm stands and walking between shops.
