Your first visit to Amish Country

Plan your trip Monday through Saturday, since most Amish-owned businesses close on Sunday. Bring some cash, drive slowly on hilly roads, and give buggies plenty of room. Please ask before photographing people — many Amish prefer not to be photographed.
